A source close to the actress told Globe that Jennifer has heard of many good things about Scientology and that she doesn’t understand why people are against it. “Jen doesn’t understand why people are so anti-Scientology. She’s heard only good things about the positive effects it’s had on her famous and non-famous friends. She’s been tempted to get involved over the years, but it was never possible due to various conflicts in her personal life. Now there’s no such drama to hold her back, and she’s ready to see what it’s it all about,” said the source.
Louis Theroux, who happens to be the cousin of Jennifer Aniston’s second ex-husband Justin Theroux, was among many others who advised Jen to reconsider her decision. Reportedly, Louis has also made a documentary highlighting the cons of that religion. However, Jen is reportedly adamant on joining it. Scientology currently has a streak of celebs like Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Kirstie Alley and Elizabeth Moss.
